Kasasa NATION

In 2018, community financial leaders from all over the country joined us in Austin for the biggest event in Kasasa’s almost 20- year history. There were guest speakers, roundtables, Q&As, and new product announcements, as well as a pop-up speakeasy. I was part of the strategic planning and theme development, and all communications and collateral were concepted and created by team.  The next year, COVID caused us to cancel the live event and pivot quickly to a digital content drops using our established Kasasa Nation web template, resulting in a very different but still quite effective online experience.

MICROSITE

 
The site teased all the speakers and hinted at big announcements, with a countdown clock and other information. The theme, “Community in Action” entered around the movement, rising up to Take Back Banking (the new campaign would be revealed here too).

Sizzle ReEL

We created a high-energy video highlighting the inaugural event to use as promote the next year’s event, which was cancelled due to COVID just a couple of months before it was scheduiled to start.

Event Collateral

Using the new “Take Back Banking” campaign for inspiration, we created eye catching collateral like the invitation that was also a puzzle, name badges with the map and agenda on the other side, and the “field journal”, a workbook with prompts and questions as well as areas for taking notes for session.

virtual event

With only two months to pivot from a live event to a virtual one, we leveraged existing systems like our Kasasa Exchange site to create an online portal for three massive content drops on specific days to make it feel like a live event. It was a massive endeavor in a very limited time; presentations had to be turned into blogs, videos, and interactive pieces fitting our theme, “Community in Focus”. The result was a satisfying online experience with a lot of important information dropped, and a lot of online engagement.
